Tile effect fibreglass roof set to fit all 1340mm wide period canopies

Available in Terracotta red or Slate Grey tile colours.

This optional glass reinforced plastic tile effect roof looks exactly like a tile roof from the realistic granular look of the tiles and mortar pointed verge, to the lead look up-stand and capping crest. The set is designed to ease the transformation of your entrance. The set is dispatched with a easily fitted special rebated plywood soffit kit that allows the return under the verge on the GRP tile effect panel to fit neatly into the timber carcass. The fixing is completed by screwing in the brass screws provided into the post and under the eves. Finally fitting the capping crest and screwing in the 2 No 45mm x 5mm screws provided and flashing to the wall (The lead is not supplied in the kit).

The sets are dispatched in a plywood packing case with an easy to follow fixing instruction sheet.

Technical Information

The roof fabrication is in two parts each part has two layers of 600 gram mat, resin laminated, on two colour gel coat. The granular mortar verge is brush applied by hand. The capping crest is cast resin and is grooved to fit over the the ridge up-stands. The 9mm plywood soffits are in four parts and rebated along the leading edge to form a grove when screw fixed to the rafters and sprockets. Into this grove the GRP fabrication is slid into position and screw fixed.
