Redisher Period Door Canopy

Our Redisher canopy is a lightweight traditional timber and plywood carcass with TGV boarded soffit with two SG19/T gallows brackets it has a lead look G.R.P. cover that slides over the timber carcass, useful on refurbishment projects as well as new build. They are high quality joinery products that are pleasing to the eye, quick and easy to fix and available ex stock for dispatch the next day. All our canopies are D.I.Y. friendly usually fixed in two to three hours.

Technical Information

The canopy set consists of a pair of purpose made gallows brackets SG19/T, one laminated built up carcass glued and screwed to the two plywood formers. The TGV soffit boards are air gun stapled to the formers. The sizes quoted are Width 1550mm measured from the extreme ends of the carcass. Projection 500mm Is the total projection from the wall to the edge of the carcass. The construction is as follows two plywood rafters are cut to shape from one sheet of 25mm plywood; shapes are machined to patterns and laminated with glue and screws to form the profiled carcass. TGV boards are air stapled to the carcass and glued. and is dip treated with Honeysuckle, Glasurit Glassohyd natura base coat fungicide stain. A G.R.P. lead look fabrication slides onto the top of the carcass and three integral pins locate into pre-drilled holes in the carcass to secure the roof at the front edge.

Canopy

Former is cut from 25mm plywood sheet.
Curved moulding is Ex 175mm x 75mm.
Straight moulding is Ex 125mm x 50mm and Ex 50mm x 50mm.
Joist is Ex 50mm x 50mm.
Soffit board is Ex 100mm x 16mm.

Gallows Brackets SG19/T. 380mm high 380mm projection.
Head or Beam Ex 50mm x 50mm.
Upright or post Ex 50mm x 50mm.
Brace or gibbet Ex 125mm x 65mm.
