Walmersley Period Door Canopy

The Walmersley Door Canopy is a high quality duel pitch softwood joinery product, designed to suit a single standard door opening of 900mm. The canopy can receive tiles, slate, felt tiles or a G.R.P. tile effect roof covering and is dip treated with Honeysuckle, Glasurit Glassohyd natura base coat fungicide stain.

Technical Information

The canopy set consist of a pair of gallows brackets, one decorative front truss one open rear truss, two plywood soffit boards, Two tilt fillets and two sprockets. The sizes quoted are Width 1340 mm measured from the extreme ends of the rafter’s foot cut to foot cut. Projection 505 mm is the total projection from the wall to the edge of the soffit. The standard pitch is 45°. The ridge is best caped with a lead ridge this can be copper tacked to the finial post and beaten over the tiles. If a lead ridge is to be used the optional grey crest may be incorporated, this can be attached to the lead with grey silicone and screws.

Optional fixing kit fits all period canopies

Fits all period canopies kit consists of 10 no 100mm 10mm sleeve anchors 18 no tile battens, slaters felt, Cement fibre soffit boards and galvanized nails. 2 no 70mm x 6mm wood screws.

Optional cast resin crest fits over a lead ridge on all period canopies.
