Timber Period Canopies ~ Birtle Period Door Canopy

The Birtle Georgian lead look canopy is a moulded G.R.P. roof fabrication. The G.R.P. roof slides onto the timber carcass with lambs tong moulded fascia board and locates on to three steel pins fabricated under the leading drip edge of the roof fabrication into pre drilled holes in the timber collar. the classic design canopy is finished with a tongue and grove boarded soffit. The canopy is supported on two SG6/T gallows brackets.

A traditional timber under-tray with a TG&Vee one side soffit, with a moulded fascia board that can receive gutter if required, that is fixed through the soffit boards to the gallows bracket top rails and a G.R.P. grey lead look one piece moulded fabrication with an 100mm up-stand to receive a lead flashing, that slides over the timber carcass, integral pins in the G.R.P. roof locate in pre drilled holes in the carcass drip rail to secure the roof to the carcass.or will discharge the rain water clear of the fascia board.
The canopy is built on 2 No SG6/T double curved brace gallows brackets with returned mouldings to head and foot.

The fascia board can receive your gutter fixing brackets if required or may be left to discharge rain water without a gutter.
