Dual pitch profiled leading and trailing edge brace bracket, mortise and tenon jointed. Twin mortise and tenons to the head upright joint.

Assembly
The gallows brackets are constructed as follows. The timber is European redwood, kiln dried. All joints are stop mortise and tenon (19mm) wide, the joints are glued with urea formaldehyde powder resin mixed with water and brush applied to tenons.

Finish
Planed all round timber. All curved surfaces bandsawn, and spindle moulder planned to profile. Bevels are 10mm and 12mm across the flats. All seen surfaces are twice sanded (80s grit and 100s grit) sandpapers.

Decorative features
The upright has a return ovlo-scotia combination mould to the outer face at its base.
The head has a return scocia mould to the lower edge at the outer end of the head.
The brace has a semi circular relief profile to the leading and trailing edges.
Stop bevels on the leading edges of the head upright and brace.

Assembly
Glued components hand assembled, pneumatically clamped. All joints secured with headless aluminium pins.

The safe working load is stated for each product below, this has been calculated at a factor of safety of six.

Structural Suitability
Calculations to find the load including snow,wind load etc should be obtained to prove the suitability of the product for your application.

Treatment
Dip treated with Gasurit glassohyd natura base coat fungicide stain. (The SG17/T OAK is treated with clear Solignum Protim)

Packaging
Products banded, corner protected and cling film wrapped.
