Timber Period Canopies ~ Moorland Canopy Sets

Moorland Period Door Canopies are high quality softwood joinery products, built to our standard projection. Any length can be manufactured to your special requirements up to a maximum of four metres long. The canopy can receive tiles; slate or felt tiles and is dip treated with Honeysuckle, Glasurit Glassohyd natura base coat fungicide stain.
The canopy is carried in stock at 1500mm long as standard. For the longer or shorter lengths of canopy allow 7 days from date of order.
Extra gallows brackets may be purchased separately.The moorland range can be supplied to your requirements up to 3500mm wide.

The canopy set consist of a pair of gallows brackets, a 9mm plywood soffit, a perlin with pointed ends carries the birds mouthed return moulded rafters with a angled head cut to fit a bevelled pole plate. The joints are glued and air gun nailed. A 45° angle cut tilt fillet is stapled to the leading edge of the soffit and the sprockets are fixed through the soffit with air gun nails.
The top of the MSL45/T gallows bracket is notched to receive the pole plate and is fixed to the perlin with 4 - 100mm x 6mm wood screws. The pole plate should be fixed to the masonry with 100mm x 10mm sleeve anchors or 100mm x 10mm Chemical fixings.
The Canopy can receive Tiles, Slates or felt tiles. Our products are dip treated with Honeysuckle, Glasurit Glassohyd natura Base coat fungicide stain to give envelope whether protection for up to six weeks prior to painting or stain finishing on site. Our canopies are sent to site flat pack for Convenience and are quickly assembled using our fixing instructions and drawings Provided.
