Offer price £350.00 plus delivery and V.A.T.The method of construction A full size footprint of the shape of the frame is drawn on a setting out board; the overhang is marked up on the setting out board and an ex 50mm x 50mm softwood base frame is made to the outline. On the base frame are built 18mm plywood formers to the curve required. A 4 mm plywood skin is fixed to the formers, the carcasses are fitted with uPVC or plywood stub soffit boards. Formers are fixed to the carcase to form the up-stands and drip edges; Lead roll effects are applied to the carcasses as required. One 600 gram, one 300 gram and one tissue chopped strand mat are laid on the roof carcass, impregnated with catalysed resin and rolled to emit air pockets. A rolled coat of grey catalysed resin is applied over the tissue mat and a final lead colour pigmented catalysed, flow coat is applied to give the appearance of a lead roof. The formers are then removed and the flashings trimmed. Finally the drip edge formers are replaced to give protection to the drip edge until fixing on site.
