    I have finally finished my porch and it looks excellent. I enclose a photo as requested. I'll do some more in the summer when it should look better. I bought the lead for the stepped flashing but in the end decided it looked good as it is. I saw a number of others online and with the lip and lead they all looked a bit too bulky. Fitting was no real problem although I wish I had painted the soffit before I put it up! Getting a nice looking composite front door was the most difficult part of the operation. I hate the ones with the woodgrain finish, they look so artificial. The one I bought is made by Solidor and it is almost pattern free and so looks like timber.

    All in all delighted with the product.

    I am writing to say how pleased I am with the product. It was very easy to assemble and put up by myself. It looks very good and is well put together. I was going to try and make a canopy and i'm so glad I didn't. I couldn't have made it for much less and it wouldn't have looked as nice.
