Note: Tile / slate overhang - This must cover the thickness of your barge board. i.e. a 30mm thick barge with and overhang of 50mm. A new roof could affect this.
Standard barge boards manufactured at 294mm deep x 30mm thick.
If choosing a "pierced pattern" will anything show behind the barge that you don't want seen? i.e. purlin ends etc
