Note all our brackets have mortise and tenon joints where applicable. We are aware of gallow brackets being sold butt jointed and screwed. This can cause the joint to open up and cause the bracket to fail over a period.

• Calculated safe working load; 273kg. 
• The safe working load is calculated with a safety factor of 6. When tested on a load test RN 11252 the rig itself failed at 2100KG. Calculations to find the load should be obtained to prove suitability of the product for your application.
• Upright; 1200mm ex 125mm x 100mm Head; 1200mm ex 125mm x 100mm Brace; ex 175mm x 75mm Timber;
• European Vth Redwood. All joints are mortise/tenon where appropriate.
• Our Timber products are inspected for faults, dead knots and shakes are filled using a two-part resin filler. All our timber products are now treated with an industrial wood preservative as defined in BS/EN 335-1:1994. The product protects the wood surface against wood destroying and wood discolouring fungi and satisfies the performance requirements of EN599-1. This allows the product to be stained/painted on site.
• Fixing kits can be supplied. If the Gallows states a SWL then we have had calculations to achieve this. We have not calculated the loading on the gallows or any fixing load as a result of the loading. Please consult a suitably qualified person to ensure the wall that the gallows are being fitted to can stand the weight of your structure. You should ensure that the fixings used are suitable for your particular purpose and substrate.
