Our range of Galvanised Steel post bases are designed to be resistant to exposure to the elements. By keeping the timber post above the ground level out of the damp areas and allowing the post foot to dry out after rain it helps prevent decay and prolong the life of the post-Designed to cover 3 brick courses and a bull nosed brick. •The products are made from steel round bars with two square plates welded to the bar. To be built into masonry or to be concreted into the ground. SWL-1937 kg/ 19kn *
•Technical- The square plates are welded onto the bar. Holes are drilled to receive sleeve bolts and wood screws. The completed product is hot dip galvanized. The safe working load is calculated using a factor of safety of six. GSF-PIN-5-BC3 406mm high, 25mm diameter bar, with a 130mm x 130mm x 6mm flange 346mm high above the base, with one 7mm holes for locating wood screws. The base is 150mm x 150mm x 6mm square, drilled with four 12mm holes for fixings. See product drawing for example of use. Designed to be built in to a stub wall. * Calculated with a safety factor of 6. Please ensure you refer to a structural engineer to ensure the product is suitable for your application.
