Stainless Steel T plate Post Base. Unique hidden weld improves the aesthetics.

Our range of GR 304 Stainless Steel post bases are designed to be resistant to extreme exposure to the elements. By keeping the timber post above the ground level out of the damp areas and allowing the post foot to dry out after rain it helps prevent decay and prolong the life of the post.

Regularly used for post and beam timber connection. Used for posts/columns top and bottom.

• Moment- resisting joint for fixed- end constraints in one direction
• Note the holes are 13mm in the FIN. Oak 12mm dowel (see dowel listing) Alternativley "Pignuts" or stainless threaded bar is often used to secure the post/fin.
• Used for Pergolas, posts, columns, newel posts and timber structures.Designed to accomadate columns of all dimensions. Used in solid timber, Glulam, CLT and LVL.
• Concealed installation Post Base ideal for Tannin acidic timbers such as Accoya and Oak.
• Note the Stainless Steel fin Post Base is a natural finish. Any "visible" parts of the base can be coated or polished/brushed on site.
